Custom messages

Each alert has its own message. Use these variables and Fibra fills them in for every post:

VariableBecomes
{mention}The ping you chose (role, @everyone or @here)
{author}The creator's name
{title}The video, stream or post title
{url}The link to it
{platform}The platform name, like YouTube or Twitch

No spam when you add an account

When you add a new account, Fibra first takes note of what's already there, so it won't flood your channel with old videos. From then on, only genuinely new uploads and streams are announced, and each one only once.

Ideas

  • Creators: announce your own uploads and streams to your community.
  • Gaming servers: follow the official channels of the games you play.
  • Fan servers: follow your favourite streamers or podcasts.
  • Any server: add an RSS feed for patch notes or news.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly are alerts posted?+

Fibra checks followed accounts regularly, so alerts usually appear shortly after a video goes up or a stream starts.

Will Fibra post old videos when I add a channel?+

No. It records what already exists first and only announces new uploads and streams after that.

Can I ping a role instead of everyone?+

Yes. Choose no ping, @everyone, @here or any role, like a Stream pings role from a role panel.

Ready to try it?

Fibra is free to add. Setup takes under a minute.
